Around a thousand people gathered in front of the Scottish Parliament, on Saturday March 13th 2010, aiming to make Trident an issue in the upcoming General Election. They marched up the Royal Mile to join a rally in the Grassmarket organised by Scotland's For Peace. The march was led by politicians across the spectrum, who were joined by leading journalist Leslie Riddoch and Rev Ian Galloway. Edinburgh North & Leith's Mark Lazarowicz took time out from a tight re-election campaign to speak out against his Government's policy of renewing Trident.
