Hundreds of local people gathered on a sunny Autumn afternoon in what was a very family friendly event. Healthy eating and the need to look after the environment were higlighted, and activities included communal dancing, five a side football, and mask making. There were also advice and information stalls provided by local groups and MP and MSP for Edinburgh North & Leith, Mark Lazarowicz and Malcolm Chisholm.
Organisations involved in bringing the event about included North Edinburgh Trust, SACRO, EMERGE and Forth Neighbourhood Partnership. Forth Councillor Cammy Day was also strongly involved and took on a role as one of the MCs of the event. This year's event will be held on September 24th 2011.
