Leith Gala Day 2010: Live singing and dancing on Leith Links
Dancers of various ages showed off their talents and skill as Leithers were treated to displays as diverse as belly dancing and hip hop, cheerleading
and samba, while their ears were caressed by the live playing of stirring pipes, rap and R 'n' B and Brazilian samba style drumming. The 90th anniversary of Duncan Place - home of the Resource Centre, and Pulse of the Place, was much in evidence throughout the day, not least in the Pulse of the Place Samba Band whose numbers were boosted to 90 to mark the anniversary.
Leith & North's reporter was unable to count them to corroborate this.
